Compacted surface is broken up thanks to the tread blocks which can increase traction in muddy ground to improve grip for maximum stability. Wide spaces between the robust tread blocks maximise penetration and grip.

Eastern Cape terrain is tough on tyres and with the amount of riding i do as an Adventure Tour Guide it is imperative to have the right equipment.

offers plenty of traction in hard condition! Excellent grip across a variety of terrain! Really satisfied with the performance and lean-angle traction offered! Remains wear-resistant as advertised!

I use these exclusively for the front in the 90/100 'fattie' The fatty especially is my prefered for hard enduro use, it mounts up just a little smaller in size then some of the other brands fatty fronts 'which can be overly huge!). I run the fat front with a HD tube at around 10-11psi with no problems, never had the need for tubliss or mousse in the front tyre. Wears well and has a very steep performance drop off once too far gone. Doesn't chunk knobs off until it's way past worn where it performs well anyway. I'll definitely keep buying these for the front!

The Starcross 5 Soft has been very good on my vintage enduro bike, used in a mix of hardpack and forest type terrain.

First off let me say this, the tires are amazing. I pulled 2 holeshots with them my first race out. Secondly, they just grip and rip. I didn’t find issues with traction due to the tires themselves and has made me more comfortable on the bike than I have in the last year searching for a good tire. Safe to say I have found said tire and will run it till the wheels fall off.
