The tread block design assists traction, optimises braking and increases tyre longevity, they are grooved to assist penetration into the ground and increase stability, on mixed/hard terrain.

I’ve used this tyre extensively on rock and hard pack clay/soil and I find it’s awesome and fairly durable and long lasting in these conditions with heaps of grip as I run them about 8-12psi with UHD tubes and have never gotten a flat with them as I have with other brands I just keep going back to them especially after I try another brand I have even taken fairly new other branded tyres off to go back to these but I keep trying other tyres but for me they never compare

Annually, the motorcycle club that I'm associated with do a trail ride from Broken Hill down along the Darling river to a place called the Anabranch. For years I always used a Michelin Competition iv, but then they were no longer available. I was a bit reluctant to go to a MX tyre, but thought that I'd give the STARCROSS 5 MEDIUM a go. I was very surprised by it's durability considering the higher speeds and longer periods of riding the tyre was designed for. I still currently have it on my 450 and won't have any issues replacing it with another once I've finished with this one.

I’ve had this tire on my front wheel for about a year an no wash out nothing the nobies are still there not broken I’d say this tire u can’t go wrong ever

Great tread wear, superb grip and surprisingly durable. However, the sidewalls are too soft and not up to the quality of the tread.
