Enduro
Enduro
Enduro takes place in a natural environment around loops of about 80 km.
This is one of the three main off-road motorcycle events along with Motocross and Trials.
Each stage consists of timed events, called "specials", and circuits where drivers must keep up an average speed. Specials take place on three types of terrain:
- lines: running along lines drawn into pathways
- banners: takes place on a course marked out using banners
- the 'Extremes' course, a combination of different and highly technical challenges.
In this event, Endurance riders cover different terrains: sand, mud, roadway, stones. The Endurance competitors therefore need a tyre that can adapt perfectly to different driving conditions. That's why Michelin has developed a versatile range meeting their needs and crowned with 28 World Champion titles since 2000.
